
The World Spades Championship is the tournament celebrating competitive spades.
The 2024 World Spades Championship in Las Vegas needed a bold, recognizable identity that honored spades culture while capturing the excitement of a major Vegas-hosted tournament. The goal was to create a logo and branding system that felt authentic, modern, and memorable for both players and spectators. The identity had to work across digital, merchandise, and event environments, and the team needed a clean, high-impact website to promote the inaugural Las Vegas tournament in Fall 2024.
I blended visual cues from Las Vegas—neon energy, casino motifs, and striking typography—with core elements of spades. The resulting logo featured a stylized, geometric spade mark inspired by classic casino iconography. A high-contrast palette of black, gold, and vibrant accents carried through signage, digital assets, and merchandise to create a cohesive, dynamic brand presence.





The branding system successfully created a bold, cohesive identity that worked across all event materials. The client felt it perfectly captured both the energy of Las Vegas and the spirit of spades, providing a strong foundation for future championships.
